PropFuel On-Demand Training | Module 1: Account Setup

What you’ll learn
In this module, we will start with a basic overview of your PropFuel account. You will learn about the different tabs that appear on the left-hand side of your account screen. We will also complete the DNS authentication process, which is what allows PropFuel to send emails using your email domain. Lasty, we will explore why you should connect your other systems to PropFuel, which systems we can connect, and how to connect them.

Lesson 1: Setting up your account
What you’ll learn: In this lesson, we will give you a basic overview of your PropFuel account. You will learn about the different tabs that appear on the left-hand side of your account screen. We will spend the most time exploring the “settings” tab, where you can set your default account settings, such as reply-to email address and send time window.
Pre-Lesson Tasks:
Check your email for an invitation to log in to PropFuel from support@propfuel.com and follow the link to log in. If you do not see it in your inbox, please check your spam folder.
Log into your account and follow along with the video lesson.

Set a default reply-to email address in your global account settings
Set a default send window time in your global account settings.
Lesson 2: DNS authentication
What you’ll learn: In this lesson, we will give you a quick tutorial on how to authenticate your DNS so we can send emails from your email domain.

Login to PropFuel to enter your domain in Settings > Advanced > Domains
Send the Instructions to your IT team to create the DNS records with your DNS provider.
When the DNS records are added with your service provider, log back in to PropFuel to complete authentication.
Lesson 3: Connectors
What you’ll learn: In this lesson, we will talk about why connecting PropFuel to your other systems is a good idea and show you the different connectors currently available. You will also complete your connectors.
Pre-Lesson Tasks:
Navigate to the PropFuel connector page and find your system. Collect any necessary credentials for completing the connection. These credentials often need to be requested by you from the company that administers it.

Once you have gathered the required credentials, log in to PropFuel and navigate to Settings > Advanced > Connectors. Find your system in the connector list and click add. Enter the required credentials and click “connect”. (Note: if you do not see your connector listed, please reach out to your Client Success Manager for assistance.)
Lesson 4: PropFuel Knowledge Base
What you’ll learn: In this lesson, we will give you a basic overview of the PropFuel knowledge base, where you will find help articles, sample campaigns and the latest product releases.
