Editing a PropFuel Email Check-In: Question, Workflow Actions, and Templates

A PropFuel "check-in" refers to a question with action workflows. There are three parts—or steps—to every email check-in: (1) Questions & Answer Choices, (2) Action Workflows, and (3) Templates.

• Click the pencil icon next to the question to edit it. ‼️ Do not click the "CHANGE" button, as it will erase the existing question and everything that comes after it, your action workflows. 

• Modify the question as needed.

• Adjust or add response options.

• Click "Save" when done.

Action workflows define what happens when someone answers in a certain way, using a simple if/then trigger. 

• Click the right-facing workflow arrow to open your action workflow tab

• Review and edit the pre-configured workflow actions, such as landing page or email text. Make sure to click "save" to keep your edits.

• If one of your actions is a "Redirected to Another Question," click the square with the diagonal arrow to open it in a new tab and repeat the editing steps.

• Ensure all workflows are turned on after editing. IMPORTANT! For workflows to work, they each need to be toggled on. 

• Access the check-in specific templates by clicking the gear icon.

• Make edits to the templates, such as adjusting margins, button colors, or other design elements.

• Edit the email template, focusing on concise, guiding text that leads to the question.

• Use the WYSIWYG editor to modify text, add blocks (e.g., headshot and signature), or change alignment, spacing, and text color.

• On the right side of the email template, you can adjust the from name, reply-to email, and subject line.

• Click "Save" when done.

• Follow steps 1-3 for each check-in in the campaign.

• Use the blueprint's suggested number of check-ins or add/delete as necessary.

• Reorder check-ins by adjusting the date or dragging and dropping if it's a sequence campaign.

• Ensure all edits are complete for each check-in.

• Once satisfied with the edits, proceed to test your check-ins!
