Sequence Email Campaigns

Edited

Sequence campaigns in PropFuel differ from scheduled campaigns by sending check-ins based on when a contact is actively enrolled, rather than on fixed dates and times. This means each contact progresses through the campaign at their own pace, depending on when they are added.

For a contact to begin receiving check-ins, the campaign must be set to “Active.” You can upload contacts in advance while the campaign is still in Draft mode—these contacts will be marked as pending and will start the sequence once the campaign goes live.

How Sequence Timing Works

Sequence campaigns follow a drip-style scheduling model. Each contact starts at the beginning of the campaign and moves through each step after a set delay. Delays can be customized in hours, days, weeks, or months to match your engagement strategy.

For example:

  • The first check-in is sent 1 hour after a contact is added.

  • The next check-in follows 3 weeks later.

  • Another check-in is sent 2 months after that.

This flexible scheduling ensures that contacts receive relevant communications at the right time, regardless of when they enter the campaign.

Common Use Case: New Member Onboarding

A great example of a sequence campaign is New Member Onboarding. Since new members join at different times throughout the year, a sequence campaign ensures they all receive a structured, timely onboarding experience, no matter when they sign up.

By using sequence campaigns, you can automate engagement while keeping the experience personalized and responsive to each contact’s journey.
