YourMembership Legacy API Migration Guide
YourMembership is depreciating their legacy API, which the PropFuel integration is built on top of. In order to continue using the PropFuel YourMembership integration, you will have to migrate to our new connector.
Prerequisites
The new connector is built on top of the YourMembership REST API, so you will need to have that enabled on your YourMembership instance. If you do not currently have access to the REST API, please contact YourMembership to purchase it for your site.
Once the API is enabled, you will need three pieces of information from the YourMembership admin to install the connector in PropFuel. The instructions for installing the new connector can be found here.
You will want to install the new connector alongside the old connector while you complete the migration.
Field Mapping
Once the new connector is installed, you will need to complete a new field mapping. Field names may be different than they were in the legacy connector. If you can not find a piece of information you need in the mapping, let us know at support@propfuel.com and we will see if we can help.
Triggers
For each active campaign you have using a YourMembership contact search or event registration trigger, you will need to recreate the workflows using the new connector. Depending on what fields you have mapped for the new connector, the options available to you may be slightly different from the legacy connector.
Actions
The new API allows us to compile a list of available fields for writeback, so you no longer have to manually enter the Field Code to write back to. You will need to recreated your writeback actions using the new connector before the legacy API shuts down on March 31, 2022.
Removing Legacy Connector
When you have successfully migrated your triggers and actions to the new connector, you can delete the legacy connector from your site. This will automatically delete any remaining triggers or actions that are still pointing to the legacy connector.
Notes
If you need any help or have any questions on this process, please reach out to your account manager or directly to support@propfuel.com.
The legacy connector will stop working on March 31, 2022, but can be used alongside the new connector until that date as you complete the migration.
