Using Branching Questions in Email Campaigns
Sometimes you want to ask a question based on how someone answers the previous question. This is called a "Branch Question".
How to Create a Branch Question in PropFuel
A branch question in PropFuel allows you to ask a follow-up question based on a respondent’s answer to an initial question. This feature is useful for gathering more specific insights from your audience. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to create a branch question in PropFuel.
Step 1: Create a New Web/External Campaign
Navigate to the Campaigns section in PropFuel.
Click the blue New Campaign button.
Give your campaign a name.Â
Select Web/External as the channel. This ensures that the question can be embedded elsewhere or linked to another campaign.
The Landing Page interaction type will be selected automatically.
Click Create Campaign.
Step 2: Add a Check-in Question
Click the Add Check-in button.
Enter your question in the Question Text box. Example: Why are you not planning to renew your membership?
If needed, enable a Follow-up Question to collect additional open-ended responses.
Review any Advanced Options, if applicable.
Click Save Question.
Add or review your Question Workflows and toggle them on.
Step 3: Connect the Branch Question to an Existing Campaign
Once your branch question is created, navigate back to the Campaigns section.
Locate the primary Email campaign where you want to add the branch question.
Open the Question Workflows and find the workflow where you want to add this branching.
Click Add Action.
Select Redirect to Another Question as the action.
In the search bar, find and select the branch question you just created. If you created it recently, it will appear at the bottom of the list.
Click Save Action.
Toggle your workflow on.
